I'm a visual storytelling, on-air reporter that loves challenges. I knock on doors, dig deep and work hard for the viewers. My experience goes beyond a typical talking head on the TV. I've worked as as one man band reporter, a live truck operator, web editor and a photographer. Going outside the typical newscast and onto the internet is important for me. Viewers don't just watch the news at set times anymore and it's important to meet their demands. As a multi-media journalist, I post updates from my story on Twitter. I also connect with viewers on Facebook.

The internet allows journalists to break the glass screen between us and the viewers and come into their lives. It is a rewarding experience when a viewer sends a tweet or posts on my wall. However, social media goes beyond conversations. It also opens up a whole new medium to gather story ideas, which is invaluable to a newsroom.
